Letting Go Original Oil Painting by Christine A. Ryan
This painting was inspired by the death of my mom. It was too much to handle at the funeral and I just focused (visually) on a bouquet of flowers in the church. I did take a picture at the end of my mom’s service. Soon after I just started painting. This is the first (and only as of today) painting that I bawled my eyes out after finishing the painting. The paint is very thick (pallet knife) and in person the painting is very vibrant and cheerful. My mom is no longer suffering! I put this on youtube to show how a painting is a series of corrections. Enjoy painting and let you emotions out!
